Maybe: But more common would be an anal fissure, a tear in the anal canal lining, usually from a hard stool. It can be quite painful and bleed a little. Painless bleeding is for likely to be hemorrhoids. While these are both common, benign issues, it is not normal to bleed with bowel movement and you should checked to make sure it is not something more serious.
