Somewhat.: The kidney infection isn't directly causing increased bowel movements.It is likely due to the antibiotics that you are on for it.Anitbiotics can interrupt your gut flora and lead to a little diarrhea.It's a good idea to take probiotics(good bacteria)while on antibiotics. If you are experiencing cramps and lots of watery diarrhea, you should see your doc right away for further evaluation. Take care!
