Why would there be blood when i pass motion?

Several causes: If the blood is on the surface of the "motion" then it might be an anal fissure or a bleeding hemorrhoid. If the blood is mixed in then the bleeding is low in the colon. If the poop is black then there is more severe bleeding higher up in the GI tract. Your family doctor should be told about this and can diagnose and frequently treat this.
