Options: Options for fibroids now include vascular ablation by an interventional radiologist in addition to surgical procedures. Surgical options are also many, and include removing the fibroid only, or the entire uterus with or without the ovaries. These can be done transvaginally, laparoscopically, or open. Talk to a gynecologist that is experienced with these options to get an opinion about your case.
