Sore Throat Surgery: A sore throat after surgery is most often due to the tube that was placed through your mouth to help you breathe during surgery. You can use throat lozenges to help with the discomfort. It will go away after a couple of days.

Lozenges: Cepacol lozenges are what we use in the hospital, but any cough drop should help as well. Also try warm salt water gargle. Don't worry though, it will pass soon.
