Music: Lots of patients bring in an ipod or something that they can play music on. Also getting nitrous oxide gas also can help.

Talk to your dentist: Let the dentist know you are very nervous. Many times they can help you to not be so nervous. Nitrous oxide gas or certain medications can help but I have found just talking to your dentist helps the most.

NuCalm: There is a new technology called nucalm. It is a natural way way to relax you mind and body. Not many dentists are using it yet. But it has worked wonders for my patients. Now patients look forward to coming to the dentist. Check to see if there are any offices in your area that uses this yet.
