Hmmmmmmmm: Personally, when I am a patient, although being nice is important to me, the quality of care is more important. I know that many dentists now take some course(s) and offer botox. Again for me, i would go to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon for Botox injections with more training and expertise in this area rather than a dentist. But that's just me.

Is There a Question?: I personally believe that dentist are well-equipped to deal with the aesthetics around the mouth & agree it is a great service to offer, but most states do not allow dentists to use Botox for aesthtic purposes. In any event, like any other procedure, make certain that the provider is well-trained & has the proper credentials to perform the procedure in question.

Could be: Dentists are probably the most gentle at giving injections. They also are are also very knowledgeable about facial anatomy. That being said, make sure your dentist has been certified, taken the necessary courses, and has results to show you on patients!
