Carpal tunnel: This is a compression of the median nerve on the inside of the wrist. This supplies muscles and nerves from 1/2 of the ring finger to the thumb. You can have pain, tingling, and muscle weakness. It can be spontaneous but also can relate to repeated trauma to that area. It is a bit over diagnosed as an industrial injury matter. You should see a hand surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
