A member asked:

Woud you please discuss the connections of kidney disease (nephropathy) with other systems?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pretty broad: Really not enough space to answer. The kidney ultimately effects the metabolism of the entire body, and renal disease can effect the bone marrow, skin, heart, lungs, blood vessels, liver, joints, bones, muscles, etc.
