How likely is it for a heathly 16 year old girl to become allergic to gluten?

Gluten allergy: It is not likely for a healthy 16 year old to become allergic to gluten nor intolerant. Many of the symptoms of celiac disease (gluten intolerance) are subtle. Her doctor can do a test to screen for celiac. If you mean allergy like hives or difficulty breathing, tongue swelling, etc that is also unlikely but can happen.
