Variable: Depends on the cause. Bleeding stomach ulcers may have no symptoms except for the visual clue such as vomiting blood or having dark black bowel movement. Same with colon bleeding; no symptoms except maybe seeing red blood from rectum. Otherwise major traumatic injury such as fall, car accident, knife or gunshot wound would cause pain & bleeding.
