Depends how urgent: Some gallbladder inflammation, need emergency surgery due to gangrene perforation , sepsis etc , but more often treated non operatively with antibiotics and close observation, speak to your doctor what direction your disease progressing.

Indication 4 surgery: A surgical consult with your local general surgeon will reveal your risk/benefit analysis for gallbladder removal. Take a friend with you to the consult. You may benefit from surgery.
