Bad one . . .: As you've surmised, Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) is a brand name for a combination of hydrocodone (a narcotic or opioid) and Acetaminophen (brand name is tylenol). It is prescribed for severe pain which isn't controlled by Acetaminophen alone, Ibuprofen or naproxen, or even tramadol. Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) and its generic counterparts are considered a step up the who pain control scale.

Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) for Headache: Norco is a combination of an opioid narcotic with Acetaminophen (tylenol (acetaminophen)). Opioids are typically not recommended for use in headaches with tylenol (acetaminophen) and nsaids being the mainstay of therapy for most headaches, other types of medicines for migraines. Beyond this, a headache seriously debilitating and not relieved should cause you to seek professional medical attention before using opioid adjuncts.
