Could be...: Spasms with twitching do tend to suggest some injury or irritation of the nerves to the forearm. If you have any numbness, tingling or other change in sensation and weakness, that clarifies that nerve dysfunction involved. Would suggest you be evaluated if this is persisting as a good history and exam should sort this out for you.
