Facial flush. Acne: Try reducing the heat in your shower water. The redness in your cheeks can be reduced longterm with a treatment like ipl (intense pulsed light) or nd:yag laser. The most effective treatment for you can be determined after consultation with a facial cosmetic surgeon or dermatologist.

Avoid hot showers: Anything that causes the facial vessels to dilate and particularly heat or abrasive cleansers are likely to cause increased redness.
