GERD: Remedies are grouped into; 1.Antacids, such as Tums or rolaids. 2.Histamine-h2 blockers, such as zantac or tagamet. 3.Proton pump inhibitors, such as Nexium or Aciphex (rabeprazole) or ptotonix. Some of third group medicines less heard of can include sexilant, kapidex & zegerid.
