I've been on microgynon 3mnth and on a 7day break at the mo, this mornin i had intense cramp and past a clot 8-9 inch long, now stopped bleeding, why?

Cannot diagnose: This combination of estrogen-like and progesterone-like substances is an effective birth control measure which is supposed to regulate your menstrual periods. Why you are bleeding like this does not fit the picture, and if it recurs would advise seeing your gynecologist. Sometimes things like this happen without an obvious explanation.
