Anemia: This is a tough question given the lack of data. Which blood cells are low? What are your iron levels? Do you have any chronic illness? Do you have GI bleeding? I would bet your physician has done testing for this and is giving you the best advice for your situation. It is hard to be specific here given the lack of medical information.
