No, just fractured: A fracture causes swelling around the area and a toe doesn't have much area to swell so it looks really big when swollen. The itching is from the skin being stretched. I'd recommend going to get treatment because defering treatment can lead to bad consequences (arthritis, dislocated joint, nonunion, chronic pain, etc). Hope this helps.
