Worrying re cancer: Worrying about developing cancer is common, but the risk of getting ovarian cancer is low. If you have a family history of breast or ovarian cancer, then you should check with your doctor and have an ultrasound done to look for swelling of the ovaries or fluid collection in the abdomen. Hepatitis or other liver disease could be a serious alternative diagnosis, but start with blood tests and an us.
