Not necessary: If you are still breastfeeding, it's perfectly okay that you haven't had a menstrual cycle (yea, right!?). After you stop breastfeeding, it may be 30-45 days before a cycle. You can get pregnant (you probably know this), even with breastfeeding and no period, as you can release an egg before you have a period.
