It depends: What type of dysplasia do you have? If you have atypical glandular epithelium in endocervical glands, a leep may not be sufficient, and depending on the clinical situation, a more extensive resection may be needed. If squamous dysplasia (intraepithelial lesion), then foci of dysplasia may be in cervix or vaginal wall, and more extensive clinical evaluation and follow up could be an option.
