Normal: Occasionally, one breast may be larger depending upon the amount of milk present in each breast.

Very common: The most common cause of one breast becoming larger while breast feeding is lesser emptying of one breast. When it is not emptied well, that side gets harder and the infant prefers the softer side making it get larger. Make an attempt to feed longer from the enlarged breast. You may need to empty manually or using a breast pump.
