Can we take 1 clove of garlic everyday if taking acitrom ( coumadin) .having hepc n liver cirohsis, mvr done 2006?

This could be a : Problem. Clove contains eugenol which can slow blood clotting. Clove should be stopped at least 2 weeks before surgeries to reduce bleeding risk. It may be contraindicated with some bleeding disorders. There is potential for bleeding / bruising if mixed with an anticoagulant or anti-platelet medication. Please don't begin this garlic regimen without first discussing with your physician.
