A member asked:

Does oil pulling eliminate prescription drugs out of your body faster and make them less effective?

No: Oil pulling doesn't sound like it would have any effect on medications already in the body, nor be able to change anything else inside the body.

It should not: Oil pulling is used to kill the bacteria in your mouth, decrease decay and make your mouth healthier. Some people believe that it can eliminate toxins in the body. There is nothing that says it will remove the perscription medications from your body, or interfere with their effectiveness.
