Could be: Those symptoms certainly could be a sign of an infection. The eustachian tube is connected to the upper inner mouth area and the inner ear, and often an infection can cause referred pain going down to your jaw. Tmj is another possibility. Best to have a dr. Yes, it could be: If so, you'd likely have a fever or warm feeling in the area. But, whether it's an infection or not - see a doctor and get treatment. Ears = hearing, right? It's a sense that you value, right? Jaws = eating & talking. They are pretty important too. Pain makes you irritable, exhausted and unproductive - not to mention unhappy. So, even if it's not an infection - get it treated. Have a better week!

Yes: Ear pain could due infection especially if with drainage. Impacted wax or injury or mechanical ear obstruction could cause ear pain.
