A member asked:

I am a teen, and for 9 months i have had unexplained weight loss (30 lbs), abdominal pain, fatigue, and others. standard blood tests are negative.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Competent doctor: A workup for unexplained weight loss is only beginning with blood work. Malabsorption ruled in / out? Maldigestion? Whipple's, gluten enteropathy, and HIV are only three entities that are high on the list of easily-missed causes. Please continue the workup.
