A member asked:

Have a pt with diagnosis of ra with jt pain and fatigue but neg ra abs and crp of 0.1. is this possible?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Run a sed rate and see if this is elevated if you have not already. There is a new called vectra da which is great test to see if a RA patient has disease activity when a sed rate and CRP are normal. It examines cytokines and other inflammatory molecules. Your local rheumatologist would have the kits to run this. A patient with RA can be seronegative or seropositive ---see add-on.
