Swollen pituitary: It is not clear what is meant by a "swollen pituitary". Is there a nodule, tumor? How big? Are there hormonal disorders? The pituitary swells normally during pregnancy and in some other conditions. The pituitary needs to be evaluated by a pituitary MRI (not just any MRI) and read by an experienced radiologist.
