A person suffering: From alcohol related delirium may suffer from hallucinations (auditory, tactile, visual). The person may have a sensation similar to having a spider crawling on them & believe that they also are seeing it happen. There are usually fewer hallucinations from alcohol related dementia. It is very serious if a person is experiencing psychotic symptoms due to alcohol use or stopping alcohol.
