Need diagnosis....: Your symptoms are likely due to airway inflammation but this can have several etiologies. Possible diagnoses include asthma, acute bronchitis due to infection (less likely if symptoms persist for months), chronic bronchitis, a form of COPD usually due to smoking. You need to see your doctor for diagnosis as they all have different therapies. If you smoke, you need to quit asap.
