Fibula: Usually yes. The issue is what position the fibula is in when it heals. If it is not properly aligned, you may develop knee or ankle problems after it heals.

Yes: Yes a fibular fracture can heal without treatment, but based on the type of fibula fracture and other associated injuries, you could potentially have a poor outcome. It would safer to be seen.
