A member asked:

What is the role of lymphocytes in the body, should i worry if i have it low? and how to boost it up ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Army intellligence: The different sorts of lymphocytes perform different regulatory tasks and generally govern the rest of the immune system for the war on disease. I trust the lymphocytes are not extremely low so as to get your physician's attention, and you've been HIV screened. Just the stress of illness or life can raise / lower the number dramatically far outside reference ranges. Don't treat a lab value.
