Dark spot corrector active ingredient is hydroquinone %2 safe to use while 6 months pregnant?

Not really known: Hydroquinone topically is considered category c with some animal studies showing adverse fetal effects -human potential effects unknown. Would recommend not using unless there is a real critical medical need. Otherwise can be used safely after pregnancy and no longer breast feeding.
