Not often: It is very uncommon to get poor arterial circulation. It is common to develop leg swelling due to fluid shifts and the pressure of the uterus on the leg veins.

Pregnancy: Many women develop vascular related issues during or after pregnancy. Reflux disease in the veins manifesting as varicose veins are very common. Also, fluid retention, swelling and sometimes lymphedema are presented as well. See your vascular surgeon to have these issues monitored during your pregnancy and thereafter.
