Need a hematologist: Myelofibrosis covers a variety of illnesses. Your anemia and high white blood count indicate something is going on in your bone marrow. You need to know what it is before anyone can determine the diagnosis, prognosis, or best treatment. Be sure to see a board-certified hematologist-oncologist.
