Uncertain: Cheek swelling can be related to heart or kidney issues. However ultrasound of the cheek can define make up of the swelling whether just soft tissue, vascular, or other cause. Some times asymmetry becomes more noticeable as infants thin out. Bone asymmetry can be seen on xray of facial bones.Allergy, tooth problems, cellulitis and infection are other etiologies.
