Beer and Health: Most likely not. Beer is full of carbohydrate calories. Carbs are the main problem with obesity and obesity often is a factor in high blood pressure. There would be no medicinal benefit for drinking beer.

Probably no effect: Any possible affect of one daily beer on your BP will probably only be very temporary. If the beer is giving you unneeded calories and/or sodium, it could even make your BP go up.

Get your stress out: Relaxation is the key to reversing tension associated with high blood pressure. An occasional beer if it helps you to relax may be useful but the long term solution is to learn how to live a low or no stress life style. Exercise, meditation and other movement practices like chi gung are very useful as well as elimination of red and hormone containing meats. Garlic is quite helpful.
