Hair Loss : Hair loss is a genetic condition, sometimes worsened by conditions such as fungal infections, low thyroid and during cancer chemotherapy. It in no way is a symptom of having an HIV infection.

Sometimes: Uneven hair loss (not the kind that hairy-chested men get as they age) can mean hiv, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium, thallium poisoning or any of dozens of other illnesses.
