what could cause a swollen tonsil on just the left side? there's no pain, no puss, and no other marks. just looks/feels swollen/like something's stuck

Swollen tonsil: Yes, could be a foreign body reaction. But anytime there is just one swollen tonsil should be checked to make sure not a tumor or something like lymphoma. Go see an ent.
