Endo Pain: Taken out the uterus does not cure endometriosis related symptoms unless the endometriosis is excised completely. Too often patients are lead to believe that hysterectomy will cure the disease if the deep, invasive endometriosis growing along the pelvic sidewall and the space between the vagina and rectum is not removed, the pain will likely remain.
