Start w your PCP: The good news: most simple low back resolves in 6 weeks. I typically advise heat, anti inflammatories like Ibuprofen (if not contraindicated), and back stretching exercises. Muscle relaxants can provide additional relief as well. A pcp can decide on imaging like x-rays or MRI if you have more severe symptoms. Preventing re injury is key. Chiropractors can also be helpful if the back pain recurs.
