Temporary/expected: We see this a lot and emphasize this is not a good time to get a new prescription for glasses because vision will improve within weeks. This is not "diabetic eye disease.".

Diabetes: Her blood sugars have been quite high for a while which effects the vision. Fortunately, she will be fine in about 6 weeks. Best of luck to her and to you.
