Fetal heart: Baby's heart (fetal heart) begins to form around 6th wk of pregnancy, can be heard with doppler ultrasound at around 10-12 weeks.

5 - 6 weeks: At about 5 1/2 weeks you should be able to detect the fetal heart beat by a vaginal ultrasound.
