Hard to tell: It could be related to TMJ or something else.... You might consider another evaluation and maybe some imaging.

TMJ symptom: It sounds like another manifestation of tmj. Are you being treated for your symptoms? Please see your dentist to get this evaluated and treated. You might also have inner ear infection.

See ENT doc.: Probably TMJ symptom. However, as an oral surgeon AND ENT doc, I have looked into an ear and seen an insect crawling. Have ENT doc look into ear.
