Antenatal Testing: During the third trimester, you have frequent visits to your OB to monitor your vitals including weight and bp, fetal heart sounds and pelvic exam to assess the cervix length etc. If you don't have high BP or any other problem with this pregnancy then that's pretty much what's done till 38 weeks. From 38-40 weeks you go every week for monitoring.
