Children & Fever: Whenever a doctor hears of a child with a fever the red flags of concern and worry go up. If this fever is persistent, will not go down with simple tylenol (acetaminophen) or motrin, then she needs to be seen by her physician. If she is also vomiting, not eating or in any way lethargic this may be an emergency. If the fever is over 103 degrees please call 911.
