What's your wish?: In my experience, all health care providers take the word suicide very seriously. Even if they question how likely it is, they do something protective. A bad therapist-patient match is not unusual. You need to find a good match - one where you trust & respect the doc and they take you as a tx partner. A trip to the er, stating your suicidal issue will get you immediate safety of some sort. Best!
