A member asked:

Why would your vagina hurt when having intercourse? yeadt infection? and it smells

A doctor has provided 1 answer

INFECTION: 'vaginal pain' can be caused by the inflammation of a yeast infection, however 'an odor' suggests another infection such as 'bacterial vaginosis'. I recommend getting seen by a doctor to distinguish these 2 infections and rule out s.T.D. (gonorrhea/chlamydia). It is important to get the correct diagnosis in order to get on the proper treatment. Hope you get better soon!
