Yes: Levels tend to gradually increase over time but due increase so should be monitored every 3-6 mths. Also talk to your doctor about doing a biopsy to make sure it is a parathyroid adenoma (tumor).

Yes: There are patients with normal PTH and calcium and parathyroid nodules. Unless the ultrasound shows worrisome features nothing needs to be done except follow up with blood work and ultrasound to monitor size.

Yes, But...more w/u: I HPT the iPTH hormone and Ca tend to rise very slow, but it would be odd for there to be a parathyroid adenoma big enough to see on imaging without some metabolic abn. Imaging is NOT used to dx a parathyroid adenoma, but find one! There are other dx poss, esp with your thyroid nodules (thyroid cyst, secondary HPT & others! You should have a full endo eval & poss FNA of the "lesion".
